How can I contact the library team?

For support with accessing library resources or academic research, please reach out to us via the contact form. You can also find us on campus during the opening times.

I can‘t return a borrowed publication on time. What do I do?

In the case that you will not be able to return a publication on time, please get in contact with the library team, who can extend the loan period for an additional week.

I have requested an e-book through Ebook Central. What now?

E-book requests are processed by our library team within 3 days. As such a request generates additional costs, carried by the UE Library, we are not able to approve all requests. Depending on the applicability of the subject matter, we evaluate wether we are able to accept your request. You will be notified via Email.

How can I borrow a book from the library?

To borrow a printed publication from the library, please visit during the opening hours and bring your student ID card. The borrowing period for a book is two weeks.

Can the Library Team help me with writing support?

The Library team is there to support with finding research material, accessing digital databanks and evaluating which publications are relevant for a specific study program. For thesis and essay support, please contact the Writing Lab.

When are the opening times of the on-campus Libraries?

You can find the opening times of the library for your campus here.

I would like a specific publication, but cannot find it in the databases. What do I do?

Unfortunately, if publications are too specific and caters to a small audience, we may be unable to provide access to these books or place orders for them. Please make sure to explore all the databases available, including the the external resources. We apologize for any inconvenience and suggest exploring available databases for similar publications that may be relevant to your research.
